The CHALLENGEFAMILY series of triathlons features more than forty full and half distance races in 24 countries around the world, including the world’s largest long distance triathlon – CHALLENGEROTH in Germany. Since 2002, races throughout Europe, Australasia, Asia, North America and South America have joined Roth. The city of Samorin is located in the western part of the Great Rye Island, close to the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, with a population of 13,000. Despite its small size, Samorin has a rich history and cultural landmarks, with the first mention of the city dating back to 1238. One of the most valuable monuments is a Calvin Church with murals and frescoes, built in the 13th Century. The majority of the population is of Hungarian nationality (57,4%), followed by Slovaks (34,3%). The total population is 13,000.
